Programmable precision power supplies, 1 kW up to 7.5 kW, in 1 U 19“

The GENESYS+™ 1 U programmable power supply series is available in 1 kW, 1.7 kW, 2.7 kW, 3.4 kW, 5 kW and 7.5 kW 19” rack models and can deliver power ratings up to 7,520 W, with high power density and light weight (< 5 kg for the 1.7 kW, < 7.5 kg for the 5 kW, < 8.5 kg for the 7.5 kW) available in a 1 U rack size.

The latest 5 kW and 7.5 kW models offer output voltages up to 1,500 V and the maximum output current for the product family is 500 A with constant voltage, constant current and constant power operation. Control of voltage and current slew rate, arbitrary waveform generation and storage, internal resistance simulation and display brightness control are all standard features.

Multiple remote programming methods are available including LAN (LXI 1.5), USB, RS-232/RS-485 and isolated analogue interfaces (0-5 V / 0-10 V) built in as standard.

Interface options include EtherCAT, Modbus-TCP, IEEE (488.2) and isolated analogue current loop (4-20 mA).

A unique, easy auto configuring master / slave paralleling system enables scalable power systems up to 90 kW to be configured.

Special options for extra fast programming response, aimed at automotive test applications, and integral power sink are available on selected models.

1 kW and 1.7 kW models accept single phase input 85-265 V AC.

2.7 kW and 3.4 kW models can be specified with single-phase 170-265 V AC input or three-phase 170-265 V AC, 342-460 V AC or 342-528 V AC input.

5 kW models can be ordered to accept three-phase 170-265 V AC, 342-460 V AC or 342-528 V AC input.

7.5 kW and 5 kW 1 kV 1.5 kV models can be ordered to accept three-phase 170-265 V AC or 342-528 V AC input.
